Any reason why? Was the coating not holding up? Matte black was what I was holding out for. I like the stealth look. Anyone have photos of Nocturnal black with the gloss black tip option?

Powder coating would defeat the purpose of the high gloss mirror finish we were working on for 2 years.

The factory tips can also be painted or powder coated for cheap so it doesn’t really make sense to sell these in matte black at a much higher price.

What we could do for you is that if there are any sets where the mirror finish is not perfect, we can powder coat them matte black.

We manufacture our products in China, but we don’t plan on increasing prices. In fact for the exhaust tips we will try decreasing our prices because our production process have been improved leading to less wastage.

I gave up waiting as well...in the meantime grab a can of rattle paint for a BBQ grill and do the OEM ones black. Looks great.
