Could use some guidance…

I have newly developed creaking moving the steering wheel off center. There doesn’t feel to be any binding in the steering, and I can steer lock-to-lock without issue. The car is 75% track.

KW DDCs
Whiteline swaybar links
Verus camber plates
AFE swaybar

Right strut, mono ball bearing in right camber plate, and both spring bearings have been replaced. Double checked torque on the camber plates and swaybar links. while not apparent on the video, it seems to be louder on the passenger side.

Video shows both passenger and driver side, respectfully. Cross posted on FB.

That noise may be exaggerated from your phone but holy, that sounds like metal on metal contact. Do you not see any witness marks on anything contacting anything else? Almost looks like, and it is super hard to tell without a picture or looking but the sway bar links look EXTREMELY close to a piece of hardware in the first video, second video I can't see the same spots/angle so I can't tell.

I'd just look to see if you can see anywhere any of those parts are making contact with each other.
edit: also at work and the crappy monitor speakers are awful

I’ll give everything a once over and also try just removing the swaybar links to see if those are the culprit.

wasn’t a huge fan of the whiteline quality when I got them, but they weren’t problematic until possibly this point.

I forgot to watch the videos. That doesn't sound like the endlinks. That sounds like something is rubbing on a shield or something.

I had some rack issues with sound after adjusting it but calibrating it with ISTA made it all go away.

solved: lower control arm to the frame came loose.

this happened to me on track, but the noise this time presented a little differently…. Possibly because it wasn’t as loose this time around.

after looking at the video, the passenger side arm seems to move a tiny bit. The video below was when I had this issue at track.

Glad you figured it out! That thing is moving around like a bad SPL control arm. ;)
