At the moment I have a stock exhaust, with a catless downpipe. I've had the dp for around 2 months with no issues. Today I noticed a weird high pitch rattle whenever I had it in normal mode. It only happens when the valve is closed. Once I switch to sport, the rattles gone. Anyone has had this issue?

Only thing I would suspect is that it's the exhaust trying to escape through the closed valve, making it rattle

Pretty common (unfortunately) valve rattle that occurs with many valved exhausts. The exhaust valve opens when you are in Sport mode, which is why you don't hear it.

Since you're using stock exhaust, what you can try is to stretch out the metal "fixing clip" which mates the valve actuator to the exhaust valve. Get under the car and undo the 3 bolts holding in the actuator. The clip can then be expanded a bit and then just reinstall everything as it was before.

The catless DP could be causing extra vibrations traveling through the exhaust. Ambient temperatures can exacerbate this issue too, especially on cold starts. It's not harmful, just really annoying.

I'm both sad and glad it's normal lol. I could give that fix a try.

I will say, I can't hear it inside the car which is good for me. I only hear it in the garage, or places with echo. Still will give any fix a try
