~ The Mercedes dealer had to order a replacement visor for my prior car (‘17 E400 Coupe) and the oem visor did not have the warning decal attached. Such a clean look. They order the opposing side and no decal again.

The reasoning I’m mentioning this… perhaps if we order a factory visor in the States, they may not have the decal? Perhaps worth trying.
Hmm…

~ Priced at $129 each.

Better dealer pricing here…

For less than $200 for both… it would be worth it to eliminate the tacky decal that’s in my peripheral vision.

Absolutely it would be worth it. Hell, the possibly insane shipping cost from across the pond or down under would be worth it if need be. I started looking as well and think so far the lowest price I found was $85 and some change. I guess I could be out $20/$30 bucks in total for shipping if I got them and sent them back if they had the sticker. Was hoping IND would have some like they do for the M2.

~ I’ll be the test and order one on Monday and determine if the decal is or isn’t attached. I have a good working relationship with the parts guy at the local dealer. If it has a decal, they won’t require a purchase. Stay tuned.

If this thing is stickerless Toyota's going to be scratching their heads as to why so many sun visors are being ordered.
~ not so lucky… a new replacement visor still has the ugly warning labels. bummer.

I removed the sun visor , only tool needed was a flat blade screwdriver to pry up clips ...

and i used , COVID hand sanitizer ( as it has >80% alcohol ) ... soaked a tissue and left in on airbag decal for 10 mins ... then rubbed off using a hard bristle brush ... done it 15 mins.

yes there is a slight ghost image of where the decal was but IMHO better than a sticker over the top of the airbag warning ..

Installing a %5 ceramic shield on the windows reduces the interior heat by almost 15 degrees and blocks the sun. But, very expensive.

Tinting everything but the windshield here in sunny ☀ Florida. We’ll see how it goes. Interesting thread ?

Probably depends on where you live and other factors, but I did my front windshield in ceramic for like $350. I'm in the Chicago area, but I imagine it's possible to get expensive in other areas on the country.

If you all are interested, I'd imagine I could design a flipdown/extension for the mirror to cover more of the windshield and 3d print sets. I don't know ow how feasible it would be but doesn't seem that difficult!
