Grab about 2 feet of fishing line and gently slide it behind the badge. Move the line like you are flossing your teeth, keep pressure toward the badge as much as you can - or else you risk burning/scuffing the paint.
Once the badge is off, remove as much of the leftover adhesive by rolling your thumb over it. Once done, spray with WD40, let soak for a minute, use a credit card (or plastic razor) to get under the stubborn adhesive. Spray small jets of WD40 onto the spot to keep from scuffing the paint as well as making the adhesive less sticky. Plus this lubes the edge of your scraper so it won't scuff the paint.
Once you get it to just small spots of adhesive, spray a paper towel with WD40 and rub those adhesive spots off.
Once done, spray on Windex to the surface and wipe off to WD40 film with a fresh paper towel.
