As the title says. My supra was recently broken into (stole nothing, just broke the window and slashed all my tires) but I've tried to replace the passenger window myself and am now stuck at trying to get the glass out of the window regulators. I have tried to use hex bits to remove the screw on the outside of the regulator but they do not budge and have actually broken 2 bits and started to strip the screws out. I dont see any other way to remove the glass from the regulator in order to slide the new glass in place. Please help me, its been months with my car sitting without a window because i've all but given up on replacing it.

1, because you pay for insurance every month.
2, because that’s what it’s for.
3, because you’re clearly not cut out for the job if it’s been months. What are you even on about?

its been months because i don't have time to work on it, when i do get time ive spent what i can on it and cant figure it out. If i could see a video for how tog et the two screws out id be fine. I dont have time to sit there and fuck around with it to learn, someone else has done it and i can just see how they did it. I've literally installed everything on my cars and done all my own maintenance, as well as replaced 4 + other windows on my other vehicles from theft. Yes i pay for it, im not going to pay more for insurance. How dense are you, my deductible wouldn't even kick in for this so I'd still be out of pocket, your comment is entirely stupid.

Yes because i left it near a concert venue where they did it to mine and ~ 50 other cars.

Any car they didn't get anything out of they slashed the tires -.-

I'm not really sure why I'm getting so many trolls in this thread, I'm asking a simple question and for some help and everyone is just being a dick and not giving any answers towards actually helping me. If you don't have a how to on how to remove the window glass, please don't comment, I'm a busy dud and just want my car fixed so I can drive it sometime this summer. I'm not taking it to insurance, that's absolutely insane, to pay out of pocket + more monthly for having a comp claim. Suggesting that is just an insult.

My deductible is 2,000 because I prefer to fix everything myself, and it was 1 tire, and glass, so... I'd still be paying for it out of pocket. No matter how low of a deductible i have set, I'd be paying money out of pocket for this + an additional monthly because of the claim. I have 6 cars, my insurance is insane with all of them regardless I'm not trying to add claims to it. I have a perfect record as is.

I'm not sure what you mean, I can set my own deductible and i chose 2,000? If something happens i can easily afford to pay that at the time i need to, I just prefer having the higher deductible and lower monthly payments. As i said, I do my own work, i have a perfect driving record, and 0 points from accidents / claims / tickets. Again i could set my deducible at 0 if i wanted, but I chose not to.
