How loud is the non red touring on stock downpipes compared to the Borla/Tomei
If you are concerned at all, do the right thing and just get a high flow catted downpipe. Same tone, a bit more volume and more power. I would do the downpipe before anything else!

I was more interested volume so I thought a catback would accomplish that more vs a catted downpipe

AWE touring is our best seller. We got those and Borla in stock. (Tomei too) But can't work as much magic on those for you. ;)

My understanding is that the resonated vs non-res doesn't make a significant difference in volume, but instead reduces drone. On a day-to-day basis, I personally like the tone of the AWE better. I drive in the city often and found the Borla too loud in sport mode-especially when the car popped or burbled.
Thank you for the info!!
