@NDR008 there isn't a "automatic mode" but the car will detect that you switched out tires and will tell you it needs to readjust and ask you to perform calibration. It's merely a push of a button and then drive for approximately 5 min or a couple of miles and its done. Nothing else to do until you change tires again. I'm constantly changing tires off/on for autocross and it's not an issue.

Actually it seems there is an automatic mode, but the dealer has to program it in, then the car knows the tyres corresponding to a set of sensors.
Either way - as you say, I decided to just use the manual and re-learn method (as I have not figure out a real advantage from the automatic mode).
