Looking for opinion's on a color type for powder coating the stock wheels. I was going to go aftermarket but i do like the factory wheels. They have grown on me. I just can not decide on a color. I thought about black but seems to common. I know its a failsafe however to me the details of the wheel get lost in the color if that makes sense. I found someone that did a bronze which looks cool but i dont know if it would be something that i would get tired of. Maybe like a metallic color? If you have a gray car with some wheel color choices post em up. Thanks!

This is the bronze im pondering.

Aye nice! How do you like them after having them on. Are you getting tired of them?
I have them on only in the warmer months. I have another set with all season tires so I can’t say I get tired of them. You can’t really go wrong with powdered coating. Anything is better than the two tone from the factory.

Red goes really hard with Turbulence, but it *is* on the louder side of the visual spectrum

Happy you made this thread as grey might be a tricky choice for wheel color choice. I like black but also it feels it loses detail and gets hidden. I would think for photos might be like that but black rims on a grey in real life is amazing.

I have also been thinking about bronze powder coat for a long time now. I think it looks dope personally

I like the Bronze, especially when it is a darker bronze. I went with Gunmetal on my Nitroyellow and loved it, but on the grey I would add some contrast

I love a brushed clear / silver finish on a gray car. Makes it look proper.

It's all personal preference, but I'd stay away from black wheels. They always look dirty, and you lose the detail of the wheel when looking at them from a distance, plus every minivan, and Honda Civic wears black wheels.

The only black wheels that look dirty are the ones in matte black. They just look like theyre coated in brake dust all the time…but its all personal preference so get whatever you like!
