Turn Signal Wire/Tap

Hey everyone,

i recently took the plunge and opened my headlights. I added addressable leds into my drl and angel eyes into the low beams, I could not do the high beams due to them having movable lens.

I am trying to find out where is the turn signal analog wireis. Our headlights has a controller in it that controls which lights to turn on. I couldn’t find the analog wire that I’m supposed to tap so that my leds can do turn signal function.

can someone help me find said wire so I can tap it. I will need it on both driver and passenger side.

my thought was that the mirrors has analog wiring but I can’t find it and it’s in a wiring harness mess… any help would do, thank you!

I went down this road in order to run colorshift drl’s. The front of the car is all wired on canbus, so there is no where to tap up by the headlamp. The rear signals are on 12v, and can be traced up to the pack of wires under the passenger door sill runner. I’ll see if i can find my pics from last year to give you an idea of which wires they are, but I’d recommend confirming colors on the rear housing before you tap. I’m a MY2020. Wiring to the rears gave me working turn signals, but they also turn amber whenever the brake is applied.

I tried to tap the tail lights for the turn signals but it lia also a canbus system. I tried doing volt test and it only shows constant 12V over 2 lines.

Anyone have any ideas where I can tap a real turn signal wire? I’m trying to setup my turn signal for sequential using a Ghozt Controller. Thank you.

Dang, that sucks. Did you test on the tail light housing itself?

Yeah, I pulled the plug out of the tail light, tested each pin and didn’t get the variable 12v on off, I found 2 pins that had constant 12v when the turn signal was turned on, won’t help for the ghozt controller.

Like I said, i had successfully found a signal to make aftermarket drl’s function properly but they have since quit working (the whole colorshift controller) so I’ll be uninstalling and going back to stock drl.
