AFTERMARKET SEATS- TURN OFF AIRBAG LIGHT?

hi guys,

i am sure some of us have already installed aftermarket seats on this beemer supra.

Need some insight on how to turn off the airbag dashboard light on.

i have been reading some in beemer forum that they use 2.2 ohms resistors to disable the light, and some even have the black module that you just plug into the airbag sensor under the seat.

Coming from subaru we always use 3 ohms resistors to turn it off.

Does anyone here have successfully turn off the airbag light on??

there are folks that can remote code out. For now i am living with several lights....

I contacted a couple of remote coders, but neither knew how to fix this issue. If anyone knows a company or individual who's capable of fixing this issue, please share here. Thanks!

You wouldn't happen to know if something like this can be done in bimmerlink would you? Ideally I'd like the ability to run buckets but for a longer trip, swapping in the oem seats would be nice.

I am not sure with bimmerlink, as im not sure what bimmerlink is. I have checked google and it shows that it can give you temps and read codes only.
If bimmercode is used,it wont work either. im 100% not sure what program they use to reprogram/recode the airbag light.

I paid 150 for it. Hit them up maybe they changed the price.
150 included almost any error codes cleared up like sensors etc and tpms etc etc
