Thanks, I saw a 2 litre Supra a fortnight ago - the first time I'd seen a Supra in the wild. It was red but absolutely filthy and it didn't stand out as much as I'd hoped - I'm sure it would've looked fantastic when clean but it confirmed what one of the sales team said to me, some colours only look their best when they're clean and the sun is out to make the colour pop whereas the yellow just looks good no matter what.
Certainly enjoying the ownership experience as I slowly get my head around the iDrive settings. Even the keys were presented in a beautiful wooden casket.

Delivery has slipped 3 months to mid-May.

Only taken 2 weeks since ordering ?

At least you had a date.
I had about 8 quotes, some answered unknown leadtime.
One dealer clearly said 7 to 9 months.
Last dealer that I ordered from said, 3 to 6 (but I am 100% certain it is 7 to 9 months).
After signing my lease contract, 3 weeks passed and still, now ball-park lead-time yet.
To be honest, it is better than the Jaguar XE I had ordered which was 16 months lead time.

I ordered mine the day before yesterday and was told "around May" but other dealers were telling me "August" which I think is probably nearer the truth.
So how does this work then, at some point, you get given an actual date do you?

Anyone here expecting delivery of theirs soon e.g Jan/Feb?

At some point, you'll get an official build week and from then updates should be more forthcoming. Until then, it's a wait and see.

I'm currently on May delivery and hasn't slipped recently. *Touches wood*

I do not even have the option to check myself online. Need to email the dealer several times to be told "no ETA in the system".

Early October. I'm getting monthly updates from the dealer so next week I'll know if it's slipped further on ETA.

Got my latest update today. In video format from the dealer, how..... modern.

Still 20th May ETA so hopefully there's a bit of confidence returning for supply chains, hopefully, hopefully...

I’ve been given my first official ETA today and have been told end of September!
I am being told they expect this might be brought forward though.
On the one hand it would be nice to have it on a new reg but then again, ownership just as we were going into winter would suck a bit

Brilliant! So when will it land vs when you expected? I have no idea how long these boats take.
When orders take this long I sometimes wonder if there are dropouts and spare cars going at the last minute. I’m sorta surprised there aren’t more cases like that.
I did say to the dealer I order from, if they get a cancelled order to let me know but haven’t heard of anything like that happening. Obviously you’d have to be willing to compromise on colour.

The current ETA is only 1 week later than the ETA provided at point of ordering, so perhaps production delays in Austria haven't been that bad.

I haven't been tracking production, I've just been getting monthly calls from the Dealer and today's happened to be quite the update.

I would think that cancelled UK orders are quite rare given how rare the car is, but you could get lucky.
