I got the warning for front brake pads, so I replaced them with the OEM Brembo’s. I’ve tried several times to reset the indicator warning with no luck. It gets to reset in progress then says reset unsuccessful. At this point it tells me to go to a dealership, has anyone else had this issue and how was it solved? TIA

did the front brake pad sensor get tripped? I’d give that a look over if you haven’t checked it out. If the sensor has been tripped, it’ll keep having your “BRAKE” light showing. there is only 1 on the front and 1 on the rear. Give those a check before spending the money at the dealer.

If tripped, the new sensor isn’t expensive and a pretty easy swap. Just a cable you unplug and plug in a new cable with a fresh sensor.

Thanks guy! Yes it was triggered, I’ve got a new one ordered now.
