I recently installed an @ARMASPEED intake purchased from a fellow member here and I wanted to give a quick review on the product itself and the customer service experience that I received from Armaspeed.
Customer Service Experience/Review:
The intake was missing all the hardware so I sent an email to Armaspeed in hopes that they offer the hardware separately. The customer service rep followed up very quickly and provided a picture/diagram of the intake and asked for me to list all the parts I needed. After doing so, they quoted me a price for the hardware and within a few days I received the needed bits. The quickness and willingness to support me even though I didn’t purchase the intake from them provided a great experience!
Intake review:
This intake sounds amazing inside and outside of the car! Installation was very easy but the only issue I had was mounting the silicone onto the turbo inlet as it kept easily falling off even when I tightened the clamp (could’ve been worn out or I tried mounting too high up on the turbo). After mounting everything down at the end, the intake didn’t slide off anymore which was a relief. Even though the unit was used already for 10,000+ miles and my car was the 3rd vehicle to have this intake, the quality/condition of it all still looked very good. The carbon fiber and aluminum box was all in great condition so I trust it’ll continue to stand the test of time. *I did have to buy a new filter as that thing was busted haha.
Pics provided of what the air intake looks like after a good amount of use has gone through it and 3 supra’s later!
