I noticed in the Winter that the tire pressure gauge was reading 2 psi more than the car was displaying.
That's when I realized I was storing the gauge indoors at a cozy 70F but the garage was at 30F and that the gauge needed to also be at the same temp as the tire.
After storing the gauge in the garage overnight the psi's now match :)

What brand of gauge are you using? I've used Motion Pro gauges for years and have found them to be very consistent in all types of conditions (my go to gauge for track days). https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-Digital-Pressure-Batteries/dp/B07GCS9ZCM
