Using an electronic tire pressure gauge..Lesson learnt

I noticed in the Winter that the tire pressure gauge was reading 2 psi more than the car was displaying.
That's when I realized I was storing the gauge indoors at a cozy 70F but the garage was at 30F and that the gauge needed to also be at the same temp as the tire.
After storing the gauge in the garage overnight the psi's now match

I was using an accutire gauge and now a Lowes Kobalt gauge. I noticed the same behavior in both during the Winter months.

I'll need to check out the motion pro someday.

I'm using this. I like the accuracy, but for proper engagement I've to try a few times. Not sure if it's my fault or not. Just chose it because of qty of reviews and high rating.
