Valve cover breather kit

Will adding a valve cover breather in place of the oil filler cap provide any benefit to the 3.0 engine. I realize there are no hp gains, just wondering if there are benefits for the engine, and not just to the manufacturer and retailler ($).

Only seems to be beneficial if you are running higher than stock boost levels and also are running an updated/modified valve cover or PCV block off pins. Additional ventilation never hurts, but it just needs to be regularly checked and cleaned to prevent it from spitting oil everywhere on your valve cover.
