What’s your favorite Hood?

I’m partial to the Seibon Style TS-II myself. It’s a pretty simple hood.

I like this one a lot because it followed the lines of the OEM hood but added a small vent right behind the heat exchanger. I ended up butchering mine but this one looked amazing as is. Seibon VS-Style.

It does a really nice OEM look. It should have line this from factory for Premium and Limited Edition versions.

Already have my OEM hood properly vented so not looking to replace it anytime soon. But I'm sure I will one day, and when that day comes, Its going to have to: 1) have good vents in the right places and 2) actually be significantly lighter than OEM.

Right now I don't see a lot of good options on the market. The Spage one looks great. Pricey though.

there wasn't anything on the market I liked either, which is why I got one that closely resembled OEM, and I added vents that I think looked good and functioned to them.

The Seibon hood is indeed lighter than OEM. The OEM hood is relatively light however.

Unless I'm tracking the car that could benefit from the vents, I'd stick with the OEM hood. I don't trust the fit and finish of aftermarket hoods all that much to start.. nor oem

I kind of dig the Varis hood with the right supporting visual mods.

I don't dig spending $6K plus shipping plus painting on one, though.

Yeah! This hood is super popular. The quality is good but my problem is the double sided carbon fiber. It inflates the cost a lot imo.

My favorite is the Sayber Designs one. Here is the V2 they’re working on in CFRP.

If it wasn’t for $3k to ship to my country, I’d have gotten this one even though it’ll more than likely be heavier than stock.

I've also had good luck with the “Seibon style” hoods from Alibaba. Quality is good especially if you’re going to paint them. And less than half price. Again, heavier than stock though
