A lot of folks seem to point to their aftermarket steering wheel as their favorite mod, which makes sense, as it's something you interact with each time you get into the car. What's the general consensus on the best place to buy one from to receive a high-quality component? I'm less worried about cost for something like this.
Opinions are like assholes on this topic, however: I think @LPPerformanceCo on Instagram is the best game in town. I've ordered three steering wheels from them for various cars, and they've consistently out-performed every other vendor for my cars in terms of price and communication. I've never been disappointed with the quality.

Thanks! I've reached out to 'em.

aFe front. Rear sway is still OEM, but RWD cars generally don't see much benefit from upgrading the rear bar. I have a rear bar, but it'll be a very sleepy weekend before I even think about bothering a subframe drop to install it--much less actually do it.
Thanks for the reply! I too have the OEM rear with the aFe front, but I have it in the middle setting. I originally installed it on the softest setting but didn't notice any improvement. The middle hole feels the best although I haven't had the chance to experience the stiffest setting.

The first video I ever watched on YouTube, back in 2006.
Bubb Rubb was ahead of his time. A luminary.

Edited because I can't read.

I wanted to say thanks again for this suggestion. I ended up ordering a steering wheel from them a couple of days ago. Getting a black leather wrapped wheel at 6 and 12, perforated black leather grip areas at 3 and 9, with red stitching and a red stripe a 12. I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't like slick carbon fiber steering wheels. The aftermarket wheel for me is more about fixing the shape and thickness than it is the materials used. At any rate, thanks again!

How are you liking your wheel? I am looking for the same setup, all leather, no carbon fiber. Curious if you are happy with it along with the quality from LPPerformanceCo. Thanks

Yes and yes. I can safely say it's my favorite modification. Wether I'm just jumping in to do some programming, have it on the track, or driving it around town, I get enjoyment from it. It fixed 100% of the complaints I had about the stock setup. There is a forum member here that sells custom wheels who people also seem very happy with. Seems to be about the same product and quality. Both use factory cores. Can't... remember... name... maybe has "yellow" in it...

@NitroYellowMKV

Great wheels for the price. He also makes paddles for them.

There ya go. I honestly wish I had gone this route just to support someone on the forum, but didn't do my research prior to ordering. Everyone seems to be quite happy with the products they receive from him.

Hey that’s me! Yep so pretty much just decided why pay the big companies 1200, 1300-1400 dollars when for the same Oem core and 99.99% the same wheel I can handle the leg work of overseas suppliers, help out the community, make a little money and get cool products. It was a win win, for less then $800 you can get an awesome wheel! Plus given my Downpipe business it’s become my most popular trade!
