I picked up an extra set of MY23 wheels for my Stratosphere. I can’t decide to go matte or gloss black.

Matte bronze
Smartest color for brake dust. Had mine done in Black Chrome II, both the shop that installed the tires and the parts manager at my local Toyota dealership wanted to see them. SEPARATELY they both mentioned they liked the “bronzeiness” of the color. Had to inform them that it was just brake dust and I had only driven ~75ish miles since washing it.

But hey, at least I know they look good even when dirty.

Matte's best
Are you sure? JK… (since you posted it twice)

But I’m with ya. Matte black is nice. I Hyperdip’ed mine (the OEM wheels) and they still look the same as the day I did it. I thought for sure they’ed start peeling off or I‘d need to spray them again by now.

Obviously powder coating is the best way to go. I just wasn’t sure what color I wanted and it was cheap to Hyperdip (spray can lol them).
