oem switch is squishy plastic these are solid metal and have a way better feeling to themThose paddles would drive me up a wall. I don’t see the allure of using them.

Agreed. I do wish they were a little quieter, but they feel very niceoem switch is squishy plastic these are solid metal and have a way better feeling to them
Me and you almost have the exact same build lmaoWashed it and took it out for a little photo shoot
How much more induction noise did their intake add?INJEN makes a nice one.
I did get some codes as the day got hotter. You did a track day on a JB4 tune???? Did you log anything? You're a brave man.
I love the stock seats but hate how it jacks your head forward with a helmet on.With a helmet on, you can still hear it. It's an additional confirmation of gear change. One less thing to have to focus on.
You hit limp mode. It wasn't the Map per say, just car getting pissy. Bimmer's are tempremantal.I did get some codes as the day got hotter.
Felt significant power loss & some diagnostic stuff came up on the car screen, so I pitted in. Switched to map 0, turning the JB4 off, problem solved. The next day, I tried map 2 and Viola! It worked. Power wise, map 6 is a beast if it’s under 80 degrees Fahrenheit (for me). And map 2 was a significant gain over map 0. Since I’m not looking for massive power gains and just wanted the catless dp and AWE track exhaust sound, I’m thrilled as shit I can get away with it on track here in hot and humid Florida!!!!
I wanted to have fun, be safe and see what she could do. Mega pleased with the results and can’t wait to get all the SPL parts dialed in!
Yeah, it was night and day power wise. Luckily it only happened once. You hit limp mode. It wasn't the Map per say, just car getting pissy. Bimmer's are tempremantal.
It took me a while to find a comfortable seating position. It is weird how the headrests are tilted forward.I love the stock seats but hate how it jacks your head forward with a helmet on.
Despite utilizing the factory inlet plumbing (snorkel piece behind bumper cover), it added quite a bit of turbo hiss. It was enough to be noticable against the scream of the catless downpipe, and that's saying something. They also make a version that's even more aggressiveHow much more induction noise did their intake add?
That’s beautiful I could still hear my turbo when my rpms were down on track and full throttle. I’m catless and AWE track. However, it was barely noticeable when I was in upper rpm range.Despite utilizing the factory inlet plumbing (snorkel piece behind bumper cover), it added quite a bit of turbo hiss. Enjoy! I’m really diggin my JB4. The little maps are fun. @Jesse DaBears can hook you up for a custom map that will do wonders for power!Installed JB4, dp this week!
19k miles and thought it was good timing to throw on the jb. Once rain clears up I’ll run it
