Here in central California the ash from the fires has finally for the most part subsided. There were a few days where it almost looked like snow floating in the air and my car was exposed to it daily at work, along with construction dust and 100+ heat. Today I washed it for the first time in four weeks using my normal Ech2o rinseless wash. This is the longest it's ever gone and the filthiest it's ever been, yet the results are as spectacular as ever. GTO is next.

I took my Supra out for the final drive of the season today. Added Stabil360 and placed her on Flatstoppers, did a full detail, suspended her insurance. She's hooked up to a battery tender from the front, but will route a new wire from behind to the engine bay in the coming weeks.

I should be getting her indoor car cover tomorrow, just in time.

65sohc - I'm sure you already know this, but if not, if you started your cars in the ash, you should probably replace your air filters (intake and maybe cabin filter as well).

Good point. My Injen intake only has about 200 miles but I'll check it. Thanks.

Just ordered a Zakustech rear window louver. Now I get to play the waiting game of do my wheels or the rear window louver arrive first? I need to learn some patience quick.

i think it was 30 bux and no to unlocked cpu.
Yes this is “free” but there is a shit ton of other alterations you can make to the car so bimmercode is very worth it. Hell, preventing the auto stop function from automatically being turned on is worth it alone. I recommend searching this forum to see how many thing you can do and then you will understand.
Yes, that function is annoying, and that’s only since thursday!

Today we added RexSpeed CF spoiler, A91 stripes, some engine love, Lamin-X door handle cup PPF, and a cheesy NASCAR decal.

genoxy - You can probably make that wrinkled side work. I install vinyl/clearbra as a hobby all the time on my cars. Those wrinkles can happen when unrolled and it only takes a little bit of heat (heat gun) to get them back into shape.

Is that supposed to be for wet or dry install? I'd probably just install using distilled water on the panel and adhesive side, and keep my fingers wet while handling the adhesive side.

GL with the install.

For me, I took my Supra out for a drive and tried my JB4's Map1. Too bad the roads were a little chilly this morning, I could not get the tires to stick. I also noticed a rattle coming from my cargo cover so made a little gasket..

Thanks for the info! I tried to install and made a mess of it so reordered and will try again. Maybe find a professional installer this time...

Installed an ambient lighting kit from Amazon. I've had the same kit in my 370Z and BRZ. The kit came with 4 LED strips, so I used the other two under the metal trunk bar. The LEDs are dimmable and color changing. I've got it pretty close in color but way too bright. I need to tweak the color to match the rest of the interior orange lighting as I plan to run it while driving, but very dim as to not cause a distraction. Took me way longer for the install than planned as I had to troubleshoot where to run and hide the wiring.

Easy way to "dim" LED strips is to put black electrical tape over part of the strip till you are happy with the brightness. Some strips you can cut shorter too once you get the desired effect.

Where did you tap into? Do they come on with the dash lighting?

Love the looks! This is what I want to do to my Renaissance Red one + Swift lowering springs
I don't now anything about Swift springs, but for reference if you were wondering, I'm lowered on Eibach, which I hear is one of the most aggressive spring stances you can get without going the coilover route. I have no rubbing and also run 13mm front and 15mm rear spacers.
