What did you do to your Supra today?

[Nitroturtle]

Lowered on these springs:

You and @SD_MK should make a trip out my way this weekend since you seem to have nothing but free time haha. Lunch/dinner is on me. After a mountain cruise of course.

@zrk don't hate me for this. It's just that I'm more convenient being near-ish by (remember what I said about long distance relationships).....

Where in California are you located?
Maybe it would be easier for you to come down - we have a very close MKV community and plenty that live in the area

Those tabs are a royal pain in the ass.

Mine didn’t want to cooperate from outside. I ended up snapping one reflector in half and mangling the tabs on the other.

I blue taped the hell out of the bumper and still cringed while muscling them off with my plastic crow bar.

Yeah, remove two bolts and pinch the tab from the inside is a much better method, for sure.

Replaced stock tires with some meaty Michelin PS4S tires. Looks and traction have both significantly improved.

Wheels:
Front 19x9.5 +22
Rear 19x10.5 +35

Tires:
Front 265/35-19
Rear 305/30-19

Stock Tires

New Tires

Also got an alignment and found out my rear tow was nearly twice what it should be. Drives like a whole new car now and fixed the weird bump steer issue going on in the rear.

Did you upgrade rear traction or toe links?

No, the only suspension changes are the springs and an alignment.

I would come down this weekend but I will be lowering the Supra tomorrow and most likely stopping by the local races Sunday. We will get something going one of these days.

Another minor change, but installed the matching dead pedal today. Should’ve come like this to begin with.

Got the RK charge pipe installed. Still need to cut the CF engine cover to get it to clear the sensors, but that's tomorrow's task.
