Finally picking up my 2023 Supra (auto) today after dropping it off at the detailing shop for PPF + Ceramic coating. The car went from the dealership straight to the shop last Friday and I’ve driven it for all of 8 minutes so far. Apparently, it was worth it because the shop didn’t have to correct any rock chips!

Been lurking here a long time and it’s my first real “sports car.” What a start to the weekend.

Best thing you could have ever done ?

Going to put on my JB4 diaper today. All this shit is new to me and trolling through the hundreds of posts. Luckily I have to work today and won’t look into it too much. Goal today: just connect via Bluetooth. Tomorrow some data logging ?? fingers crossed ??

Nice! How'd the install go? Do it yourself?

Professional install and trying to use the app myself ? Starting a thread on that cuz I couldn’t find one ?

Nice. Sometimes it's just easier to pay someone to do it. I feel ya on that one, says the guy who's paying someone to stick a simple duck bill spoiler on his car... ?

I've installed several JB4s for local folks. Getting down to the turbo can be a little tricky, so it's all good that you went for the professional install.

Yeah the sensor by the charge pipe as a PIA to get out and the little heat blanket by the EWG was annoying also but overall simple install

The key to ensuring success in this part of the install is to go through 2 different types of airboxes, have trouble with 1 of them, so you get plenty of practice removing and installing the entire intake system. Bonus points if you post an angry thread about it here.

My mean Supra made a Tesla cry today. I started up my beautiful but extra loud AWE track exhaust, catless dp, no tune yet Supra in my work parking garage and this pretty white Tesla got offended or just plain scared. The poor car's alarm went off for about 30 seconds. I wonder how much battery charge I inadvertently drained ?. Probably about the same amount of petrol I burned... So now I've got a new fun parking garage game: Finding the closest Tesla to park next to :drive: ? ?

*(all in good fun, not Tesla shaming, great novelty cars - but did LMAO)*
