now convince @FLtrackdays to sell me a set of his fronts that he's hoarding.
@FLtrackdays quit hoarding pads and hook another forum member up!
Feel yāallās pain. Iāve been there dun that ? & why I keep a spare set. Did you guys try Speed Industry or some of these?Honestly I'm not feeling great about it, but I don't want to bail on the events I already have scheduled and this was the only way to get pads in time. I'm not a good enough driver to take advantage of the extra performance, but I really don't think I had any other viable options.
It's a lot more money than I really wanted to spend, and looking at how much I've spent this summer it makes me feel sick. That said I've spent the better part of the morning calling anywhere that has the PMUs listed for sale and they're all telling me it's going to be 2-6 months.
Lesson learned. Next time I find the PMUs in stock I'm going to grab 2 sets. It's still cheaper than the god damn CSGs.
This also means that my two upcoming track days are going to be my last for this year.![]()

Off today, so Iāll climb up in my garage and see what Iāve actually got Chuck.
Even though I no longer need the spacers, Iāve keep em on. Havenāt measured the offset. Running the OEM wheels offseason. Looks good with both. But ur right, not needed.18x11 and still need spacers? What's the offset????
My numbers are vinyl. I couldn't find metal anywhere on the car that I wanted to put numbers.
As for the great brake pad debate, nobody seems to worry about brake pad wear versus rotor wear, other than me?
We all know either the pad is going to wear or the rotor. You can't have long life in both.
Unless the CSG pads are lasting so long because they are literally so thick that they last twice as long as a standard thickness pad.
Like you, I do like how the Hawks donāt chew through my rotors and last quite a long time. Are yours holding up the same on track so far? I did try the Paragon$ on this Supra. They worked but went through them quickly.
