Mark, my man, if only it were that easy. This kid is so chill, I often have to check his pulse. The only way that this is going to realistically happen is if the wife (she's in the insurance biz) obtains a quote, signs him up and pays the premiums. And I keep bugging her to stop subsidizing these kids' lifestyles (i.e. we're still paying for phones and until recently, car insurance, and who knows what else she's doing that I'm not aware of). Grrr.
Amazing how each kid can be so different, mine included. Glad y’all are trying not to subsidize their entry into the real world. It only delays reality and deflates your retirement. We’re in the same boat with my wife. Well said Michael.

Having no kids helps a lot with some of the issues ya'll have been sharing. I still have the "I could have retired by now if it wasn't for these meddling cars" issue though.
Yeah, it really makes it a double whammy Brian. I’m kinda glad I got my replacement parts so late. I may not make it back to the track until October, which is okay. At least I can dust off the SIM and actually give it a try. Been telling myself I’d do that for over 2 years now. Unfortunately this car is that much fun = ?
