Hello all, I have a locked 2021 with catless downpipe, JB4, Intake, Charge pipe. I would die for more burbles without being louder. My question is if I want to get an MHD tune how much would it all cost with the unlock included.

600 for MHD and the adapter and 1500 for partial unlock through Euro performance center. I was gonna do MHD but I’m holding out to find an ECU for ecutek which is difficult af to source atm

What makes ECUTEK so much better than MHD?

From what I’ve seen same cars with same mods on EcuTek typically are making better numbers. Also with the clone u have access to use port, flex, on the fly map switching, rolling anti-lag, etc

Calibration tables are calibration tables. MHD, WinOLS, Ecutek, BM3, MGFlasher, etc., modify the calibration tables. So for a large percentage of 'standard' tunes, there's no difference (as long as you get a custom tune and not off-the-shelf garbage).

The biggest differences are the tuner experience (most tuners prefer to tune with Ecutek) and support for custom software. Custom software is things like Map Switching, Anti-Lag, Launch/2-step, or controller external hardware. Reflex for port injection, meth, nitrous, external gates/boost solenoids, flex-fuel, etc.

It really depends on what your goals are. If you want to push the thing, go Ecutek from the jump. If you're going to be happy with the stock turbo or stock frame turbo w/o port injection and the factory gate, whatever is fine as long as it's what your preferred tuner likes.

Keep in mind, the Femto unlock does not allow for additional software (flex, map switching, etc), regardless of the tuning platform. You need a clone for that.
