Kind of a dumb question....

What does everyone do with the OEM exhaust once they replace it? It's too big to haul up to the attic. Any value? Or should I just section it up and store it in pieces?

With every car I’ve ever owned. I kept OEM parts.
when I sell my car, I find it easier to sell with stock parts as the plane Jane won’t care or pay more for upgraded parts.
I would then offer to sell the performance parts for an extra cost or sell them used online.

I also suggest for everyone to keep OEM parts while the car technically still has warranty. If an issue arises with the car that I can’t fix, I plan to put on all OEM parts and take it to the dealer to avoid any backlash from the manufacturer.

same reason I tell everyone to keep their stock downpipe. I know businesses are buying them from users and it’s scummy. It’s scummy because they plan to sell them back to users for an up charge once they need to pass emissions on a later date, especially in California.
