Hey guys, I’ve reached the point where I need to drop some money on new rear tires. I’m currently running 285/35/19 tires in the rear and want to upgrade to 305/35/19. I’m running the HKS adjustable springs so I can raise in the rear if need be. Trying to get y’all’s help to figure out if they’ll fit my current wheels.

Wheel Stats:
F: 19x9.5 5x112 25mm
R: 19x10.5 5x112 34mm

I’m still diagnosing an issue, so this is somewhat speculative based on some preliminary research, but read up on the 305’s on a 10.5” wheel. I’m currently running 275-35 and 305-30 on 9.5” & 10.5” wheels respectively, and the car is very unstable on the road. It’s not breaking traction, but the car feels as if it’s swaying back and forth in the lane while under throttle. I’ve changed nothing else on the car and am on stock suspension. Since the car only has 100 miles on it, it could be just a bad factory alignment, but I’m more inclined to think it’s the rear tires being a little large for the 10.5” wheel. I am running the MPS4S tires for reference.

Thanks for the input. This thread seems to have gone cold pretty quick. I know there was another thread about 305/30 vs 305/35, but I’ve read through that.

Lots are running 305 on 10.5. As 10.5 seems to be the standard aftermarket size. Get an alignment.
