Wing mirror failing

Mine did the same, I washed my car last night and today side mirrors and windows from door panel are not working
i still can open my trunk and lock, unlock my car from door panel
i hope it works after i keep it out to dry

Last 2 days I’ve noticed my passenger mirror doesn’t fold in when the car is locked. Drivers side does. Not sure if the car is smart enough to realize the right side is parked against a curb and doesn’t need to fold in??

the auto aim down still works when reversing. I swear this issue only started after I actually set up as a driver profile instead of using the guest mode.

They worked fine yesterday, dunno what happened. I have that thread watched, thanks. I got all the bimmer apps and enet adapter before I picked up the car lol but not changing anything yet

anyway back the the mirrors,oddly when I was standing next to the car and did a long press of the lock button, they didn’t fold in. Walked away and did it again and both sides worked. Maybe it doesn’t do it when standing that close but either way the passenger side moved so I’m happy. Still learning all the quirks of this car, really need to read the owners manuals at some point.

This is happening to me after washing the car. I used a touchless foam spray then washed well with warm water. All the time while washing I thought it was interesting that the mirrors were opening and closing. Later than evening when driving i noticed the window switches not working.
