Wouldnt Rev after starting

Update: Cars at service once more. Have a video this morning of the car shutting down this morning after cold start. Ill post video as soon as i get home from service.

I still wonder if this is all caused by the dealer accidentally putting 87 fuel in the car from the start.

I have a piggy back Titan Protune, with AA catted DP now. But even before any mods I don't remember having any issues to rev whenever I needed

This is what my car did before I dropped the car off at service. The tech told me to send him the video so he can send to toyota which sends to BMW then they tell him what to do lol!

Update: this is the technician words.

I have duplicated several times with Toyota on the phone. Toyota said I have to leave the computer plugged in. (Technician is referring to the active sound module I unplugged for the fake noise) They had me remove and reinstall the engine computer software. I will continue to start and stop engine. So far it is running ok.

Even before when i unplugged the Active sound module the rev problem was still happening. I just told the technician so he knew everything I did. He was still able to reproduce the rev problem. But he had to plug the active sound module back in due to hidden codes being thrown. The rev issue had nothing to do with the fake engine noise from the speakers.

As of right now the tech says its working after the work they did. I told him the true test will be tomorrow morning after a full nights rest lol.

Update:

So the problem is still going on and now they have escalated the ticket further. From what i understand the tech said toyota said its not normal.

Man first it was the wiperblade issue which was fixed and now this. My car has been in service longer then ive had it. ill keep you guys updated.

I’m sorry. That would be super frustrating. Take note of everything and communicate by email summarizing time, their attempts and everything

I would start writing letters to Toyota expressing extreme disappointment.

Update:

So it looks like im getting a new ECU from toyota. To think I almost had my ECU unlocked for tuning. Im having second thoughts on tuning this car now. @Marin@MarinTuned

Curious if a good tuner would have been able to fix this issue.
