Yeah, NEVER take delivery of something that has damage. It's ten times the trouble to get it fixed after you've accepted possession, than to have it done before. Regardless of what they say, they have a lot less incentive to deal with it afterwards, and that incentive goes down further with every single day that passes after you took possession.
Finding that out. It was just so difficult getting one. I figured one is a manageable headache.

Thanks for sharing. It wouldn'the Toyota. It would be the shop the dealer chooses because it's already dropped off.

Any idea why it happened the same way?
If it's up to the dealership, then the next owner is completely fucked. Have fun getting a budget, third-party paint finish to EVER match the rest of the car correctly.

I never got a photo of my damage, but the description said something to the tune of "a crease or gash, between 3 and 8 inches in length, in the center of the front bumper cover."

Looks beautiful. This means it doesn't show up in a car fax? Any pics when damaged before repair?

How do you like the car?

What other things were you looking at. It takes a lot from a buyer to be so patient.
Exactly. Because CARFAX and all other searchable vehicle records begin AFTER the vehicle is sold, the only 'public' record of that damage is in the minds of myself and my sales manager.

Which car? I sold the 2021, and now own the same thing you do. About the 2023 MT, I couldn't be happier with it.

That's awesome.

Were you looking at other cars too? If so, which?

You lose on the 2021?

I'm curious, I haven't driven this supra, if you have driven a 911 or cayman, how diff are they.

I drove the 911 then thought it can't come close, but maybe the suora 80%+, without the cost.

I had a 2007 911 Carrera, 6sp. Now have a 2023 Supra... 2.0 LOL. 911 is clearly a more refined drivers car. The Supra feels more like a go cart - which isnt a bad feeling in my book. I needed an automatic for stop and go DC commute traffic so it fits the bill while being sporty enough. At some point, I will be back in a 911 again...

GLW the search, genuinely.
I think they're hard to find because not many have been delivered, and also it's just THAT MUCH FUN of a car.
From when I placed my deposit a year ago, I had 100% intention of keeping it for at least 3+ years (and that's a long time for me), and after driving it for a few hundred miles now, I TOTALLY understand why someone would not want to sell.

It's JUST THAT FUN to drive !!!

I mean, everyone has a price, so if you offered me $105k+ I'd be an idiot not to, but then I'd just turn around and use that cash to buy a Cayman GT4 or something.
