Hi all,
First post here, took delivery of my 2020 Premium 3.0 Tungsten last month, love it. I have a question on the tire settings with the stock rims/tires from the factory. I have the stock rims/tires, however in the tire settings, mine is set to manual and whenever I attempt to set it to automatic, the tire recognition process fails. I'll then receive the error message, "tires not recognized" in both the dash and touchscreen when I start the car. After I close the error screen it sets the setting back to manual.
For those still with stock wheel/tire setup, are your tire settings set to automatic?
I brought to dealer and showed them the error. They took the car for a couple of hours and informed me afterwards that they cleared the error. But when i got the car back, I saw that it was still set to manual and not automatic. Before I return back and complain the problem again, I want to make sure that automatic is the proper setting.
I do still get the tire pressure/tire temperature readings reported and it appears to know when the pressure is low after i intentionally lowered it 6psi. But still, I'd like to know that the system is working appropriately from the beginning and if its supposed to be automatically recognizing my tires, I would like it to do so.
Thanks in advance,
J
