You have to just stick with it. Got my A91 for 4k off msrp. I just submitted my offer, told them I was a serious buyer and they accepted it. They had a ton of interest from tire kickers and not many people actually willing to throw down. Be "that guy" and the deals are out there.

I also was willing to drive a bit to get it. Drove almost 3 hrs away to pick it up. The drive back was glorious ?
I guess I was trying to capitalize off the December 1500 cash incentive. None of the Blue A91 dealers replied back to my below msrp offer. Oh well. I guess MSRP - 1500 is 'ok'. I'm thinking the 3-4k below MSRP is like the uncommon case.

Go further out. I got my A91 for almost Invoice, after tax and fees it came out to around 57k OTD. (they still charge Bay Area tax even though i was out in Redding). I had a good amount of negative equity from my trade in so my monthly is higher than it should be but this never would have happened if they hadnt given me such a good deal.

You also have to remember dealerships in the Bay Area have no incentive to give people any deals. There are so many rich people here that dealerships can sell cars like this for massive markup and people will just come in, drop 70k and leave with the keys without a thought in the world. And then come back a year later and trade it in for 30k less than what they bought it for.

What you want to do is find a high volume dealer out in the middle of nowhere. Generally dealerships out there sell more Corolla's and Tundras than they do Supras since the majority of people out there cant afford a 50k sports car or its just too impractical. But you want to hit a high volume dealer who cares more about moving units than they do each individual sale. Thats how you get the good deals. Play the area and make sure the dealership cares more about units sold than price of units.

Theres a reason that cars seem more expensive in CA than they do in practically any other state. Be willing to travel, and if the dealership tries to play you after you've made the trip, be willing to walk away. Thats when you get the best deals.

Or you can just have a hook up at a dealership.... haha.

I've got two personal friends at my local Toyota dealership. Let me know if ya'all want the hook up.

Damn if only I knew before I bought mine lol. Got my Refraction Blue for MSRP (minus spoiler).

I did luckily get the $1.5K off through their current rebate program and another $2.5K off from returning my lease (2017 Mirai). But would have been nice to get a bit more off of course!

Wondering if anyone can help with an A91 Refraction Blue order in PHX area. Tempe showed one long sold pending delivery. Internet folks at Camelback show one coming in soon but dealership manager says he wants to display it for a week or two and then accept bids from previous customers. Thx in advance.

Not looking for Refraction Blue but any premium. None of the Bay area dealers want to deal. Walnut Creek (black) and Madera have them listed for 53k (grey)and won't go lower. Waiting for Redding to get back to me for the silver premium.

Madera has a refraction blue for 53460 as well.

Curious to see what the hook up price is as well lol
