My take on it - If reviewers can only take a dig at small cosmetic choices and the wind buffeting issue, what does that say about the car as a whole?

It's easy to criticize the vents b/c they're obvious. Gotta get those clicks, so you have to say something negative to stir it up.

PS - I'm not getting into that guy talking about bump-steer. He's obviously biased a certain way and I don't think he speaks for the majority of people who own this vehicle.

With all the online whining I could see Toyota just doing away with the fake vents on the bumpers when it comes time for the facelift.

Please excuse the 10 min quickie on MS Paint, but you guys get the idea with the vents becoming apart of the body cease and the door now being one piece.

I like the door and don't mind the rear, but the front bumper and hood looks a little bland now. :/

There was a video, somewhere on the forum, of another Toyota engineer saying the hood vents could be removed as they release or pull air thru the engine bay. I don't know know how the air gets in but the hood vents exhaust the air, IIRC.
The comment section ?
