The headunits software stays intact and you can still use BimmerCode etc after the upgrade .

No dealer issues etc , No effects on tune.

We can disable the Auto Dimming of the iDrive Screen , so it stays on Max Brightness, is that what you are referencing?

I was referencing how the screen brightness isn't adjustable by default, as it uses the auto-dimming, as you said. I've already enabled this, but also heard that the new Supras being delivered have this by default.

Last one from me - no issues with the Stanley battery charger you have linked from your site and the AGM battery? I assume I shouldn't use it to charge, but no issues during a coding session?

Do you know if you have the ability to disable the instrument cluster auto-dimming? There is a light sensor on the left side of the instrument clusters like current G20 BMW’s and during the day with the headlights off the instrument cluster dims.

Not the navigation display, but the instrument cluster with the tachometer and speedometer

You just need an ENET cable + Windows PC and jumpers.
All you need to be able to get firmware updated and enable Fullscreen.
