Unfortunately Toyota doesn't show release notes. Fullscreen is the main feature that we got with the newest release. Is there a list of updates/fixes that are included in the firmware upgrade?

That's correct. Not really other benefits than Fullscreen CarPlay so update not really required. So realistically if I'm not interested in fullscreen carplay (AA user here) the update doesn't provide me with anything really?
Thank you very much for Your review!Quick, professional, and friendly! highly recommend!!

used the jumper method, and for my BMW friends the black MHD adapter works great!!
Did you use Bootcamp or VM for Windows? Curious if I can just do this with a Windows VM.Quick, professional, and friendly! highly recommend!!

Theoretically it is possible with Windows VM but it's just safer to use native Windows or Bootcamp with Windows installed.Did you use Bootcamp or VM for Windows? Curious if I can just do this with a Windows VM.
in another post people have tried to get Toyota to update the idrive software after it came to light last week there were 2021s coming to the dealer with it ore installed. Those members were either told there was no update available or another one was told there was and then they played stupid when he actually tried to get them to install. If Toyota won’t update it there is clearly a 3rd party market who will. I agree they should do it for free but Toyota dealers/techs seems so clueless and disconnected with this car so good luckanother stupid ? why can i dl bmw iDrive updates, install via thumb drive. If we had the firmware update file we should be able to update it ourselves. not trying to piss on anyone parade but it would appear you don't need someone to remote session into your box to update idrive via odbii bus. maybe I'm thinking to simply but paying for what should be free updates seems kinda jacked.
It is worth to mention that they could ONLY update the whole car software including DME so any TUNE will be gone. The update we do is just a headunit firmware so no affect on tunes or any other modifications.in another post people have tried to get Toyota to update the idrive software after it came to light last week there were 2021s coming to the dealer with it ore installed.
