Reset the learned adaptations via BM3, definitely woke the car up quite a bit.

Finally got cleared by my significant other to work on my own car lol.

Started out the morning like this:

And just finished. Sounds amazing:

Installed:
  • Verus Heat Shield
  • Verus AOS
  • Verus automatic drain kit
  • AMS Charge pipe
  • MST Inlet Pipe
  • MST Intake
I've got to modify the cover for the intake box. My wife will cut it at her lab tomorrow for me. I don't have the tools to make a perfect cut, but she does... I trust her lol.

Are you leaving the intake airbox open because it wouldn't fit with the strut brace? Also, do you have any way to monitor if the heatshield is doing anything? I'm interested to know if the Verus Heatshield actually does anything to make it worth the purchase. My car is stage 2 tuned and it gets hot where I live. I've been thinking about getting this heatshield but I'm skeptical.

My wife is modifying my cover tomorrow. It won't fit because of the Verus AOS.

Verus Engineering is pretty methodical about the products they make.

Vesus is insanely detailed and research-oriented. They don't release many products (rear spats, for example) that don't do anything. There are data sheets for every product they sell on their website.

I got these keyfob covers on Amazon for $10. They help a lot knowing which button is which while they’re in my pocket while also protecting the key fob

Do you have link? I can't find it on amazon.

love that roof wrap. Has anyone seen a pic of a red Supra with the black roof wrap? I’m really considering doing mine. I’m sure it’ll look good, just curious.

I bought one, that’s what I did.. Upcoming mods.. Doing the subwoofer DIY mod this week. Have a carbon fiber spoiler on the way.. Installing the Amazon $8 wind buffeting fix today.. Friday I’m doing paint correction and ceramic coating myself (estimating 8 hours).

Fun little car.

I drove mine today. 2nd time this month. Going to do an oil change tonight if it cools down enough. Only supposed to be 110° out.

Decided to polish all the bare aluminum in the car today. Here's a before and after with the Verus caps. The before picture is when I got them in the mail. They looked pretty good already. Now they shine.
