I see they have a part number for this
Although it’s rather expensive at over
$1000?! Has anyone bought this?, or any advice in regards to this spoiler?

Are you referring to the CF A91 spoiler? Link? Model#?

I'm curious as well

Yes, and there is only one part number for all 3 versions, it comes as a kit, in matte black

Automodz.ca has the a91 spoiler rep in carbon and matte black. I bought it from them. Quality is good and the fitment is spot on. half the price. just an FYI.

I had awful fitment issues with Rexspeed v4 spoiler (which is a replica of Toyota's A91 spoiler) and was able to return it for a full refund. I would have given Automodz a try, but instead just did it right the "second" time around and got OEM. It's expensive for something that probably isn't functional (or maybe it is, i don't know, i did it for the looks), but I have no regrets spending a little under $1,000 for it an OEM product.

(keep in mind that Toyota will not sell you the spoiler unless you have an A91 VIN number...i used a VIN from a crashed A91 hehe)

I got mine for $950 shipped. It came with all the hardware and template to install, but no instructions manual. The PDF install guide is available here

Install wasn’t terrible, though I did reposition the template like a dozen times to make sure it was perfect before drilling 5 holes on top and 4 at the bottom. A little nerve racking, but got it done. Fitment is spot on perfect and no water leaks after a test wash.

There's a member selling theirs here at an amazing price https://www.supramkv.com/threads/a91-spoiler.10074/ . He probably doesn't have the template though since they removed it from their A91 supra....but I still have the template that i'll likely never use again if you want it (just pay shipping -- and assuming you buy that used one)

Holy moly. Didn't realize the OEM one requires drilling. I guess it makes sense since Toyota doesn't want those things flying off during nurburgring track tests or something lol

Thanks for the super detailed post

Yikes.. I'd never drill so many holes for a little gurney flap of a lip.. Talk about overkill.

I got the Rexspeed.. the version that fits correctly.

It's not a true Toyota anyway, car's fit and finish is hardly prefect to start..

Is it possible to install the official Toyota one with just 3M Tape? When I had my FRS, I was able to rip the two tabs with the mounting bolts off on the TRD wing and just use the 3M that was on there.

No, the spoiler has the threaded bits sticking out which you cannot remove easily.

The spoiler is also much heavier than the aftermarket ones due to the center having some sort of wood. (Image attached) With the spoilers' weight no way I'd install it with just double sided tape.

Because if everyone who didn't have an A91 bought it. It would defeat the purpose of the A91 limited edition.

Which wing did you replace it with? I probably would have bought this if not for the drilling. Just something about not being able to revert to stock scares me lol
