On the looks department I think the Supra wins hands down. While I do think the new Z4 will be better looking than the old model it still looks very plain Jane to me. For me the best looking Z4 was the E86. I have a thing for the Bangle bimmers.

Both A70 and the source from Guff's post said the vents are fake. Also why did Toyota put the same exact fake door vent on the GR Supra concept and the spied prototypes? Some of you guys need to start coming to terms. I don't know what is worst, people believing that Bill Cosby is innocent or people still hoping for functional door vents on the new Supra?

Yeah I also see Z8 styling cues on the front. Especially with the elongated kidney grille.

Even the taillights, come to think of it...people call the Supra a reskinned Z4

when in reality the Z4 is a reskinned Z8!!

The Z8 and new Z4 both pay homage to the BMW 507. While there are some similar styling cues, I wouldn't go that far. It's still missing two extra cylinders.

not surprised to see the amount of dislike towards the styling of the Z4 here. the design is catered towards the BMW crowd and not for you guys. like wise many on bimmerpost find the styling of the Supra to be over the top, cartoonish, too busy, overstyled and etc. personally i think both cars look fine and appears to please their target audiences. in the end its about personal preferences. the old saying different strokes for different folks. i think the Z4 is more subdued and elegant. the Supra is definitely stands out from the crowd by being more sporty and aggressive.

Im liking this Z4.... maybe a second hand would be OK as a summer weekend car... when its about 25-30% of its retail value, so about 5 years time as most BMWs
