I ran the stocks for 15k miles and then switched to Titan's plugs. Supposed to be a 1 step colder plug, but performance-wise I could not tell a difference.Hey guys,
I’m planning to run stage 2 on E30 soon on the Supra and had a question about sparkplugs for that.
what’s the recommended NGK spark plug for a stage 2 Supra and what gap distance is recommended for running E30?
thanks guys
Were they pre gapped?I ran the stocks for 15k miles and then switched to Titan's plugs. Supposed to be a 1 step colder plug, but performance-wise I could not tell a difference.

They are not one step colder for Supra or Gen2 B58. They are the same heat range as the stock Champions that came in your Supra.I ran the stocks for 15k miles and then switched to Titan's plugs. Supposed to be a 1 step colder plug, but performance-wise I could not tell a difference.

no posts because no issues. How are the stock plugs on the Supra? I haven't really seen too many posts about them.
Have run the stock plugs and gap beyond 850whp. No issues. How are the stock plugs on the Supra? I haven't really seen too many posts about them.
they had a slightly larger gap than what the Supra calls for so i gapped them to OEM spec. I’ve read plenty of @Twisted Tuning’s posts and I still let the hype get to my head and used the colder plugs, stocks are perfectly fine and with 15k they were still in good shape. Were they pre gapped?
what made you switch over? Long cranks on startup?
Unrelated to plugs. But you shouldn't have long cranks on e50 unless your HPFP is failing or the tune isn't adjusted properly.they had a slightly larger gap than what the Supra calls for so i gapped them to OEM spec. my car ran e50 so I was used to long crank times. I switched them because I watch too much YouTube and got bored.
Another note: the plugs Titan sells are marked AG VW on the insulator. If you try and look for an NGK part # it almost looks like they etch it off. Kinda funny.

My car sat a lot with e50 in the tank. Just my observation.... If I drove it daily it fires right up, if it sits for a week it did crank a little longer.Unrelated to plugs. But you shouldn't have long cranks on e50 unless your HPFP is failing or the tune isn't adjusted properly.
mine sits weeks or month at time often w e50-e85 in tank and never has long crank ?My car sat a lot with e50 in the tank. Just my observation.... If I drove it daily it fires right up, if it sits for a week it did crank a little longer.
yep on e50 I never had long crank eithermine sits weeks or month at time often w e50-e85 in tank and never has long crank ?
shouldn't matter how long the car sits. Shouldn't have a long crank unless the HPFP is failing, car has some ignition hardware issues, or the tune needs work. my car starts up immediately everytime. And im in NY on E90.My car sat a lot with e50 in the tank. Just my observation.... If I drove it daily it fires right up, if it sits for a week it did crank a little longer.
