I have a tow hook mounted number plate holder too. It also get's a bit loose occasionally so needs to be tightened up but it doesn't happen that frequently.

I would maybe get a slightly smaller plate next time though, this one is a little too big and I don't like how it overlaps the silver one the splitter.

I had an M140i previously and didn't run a front plate on that though, never had any bother really. Had one interaction with the Police about it but they let me off because I carried it in the boot with some spare sticky pads so just popped it on there and then.

My dealer had originally planned to fit a square full sized plate like the one you have but at the last minute decided to get a slightly smaller plate made.
I'm glad that they went the extra mile as it just takes up a bit less real estate on the front bumper!

I was just comparing yours to theirs. Was wondering if you'd got it made aftermarket and if it was legal, but if dealer fitted then great.

Do you know what the dimensions of your one is? It looks a much nicer size than mine.

I hope there's a SU14PRA out there on a Supra too!

I'll have to get the measuring tape out! I'll get back to you tomorrow.
I also have these as options, just in case I fancy a change!

So, the measurements for the plate fitted to my car are as follows, standard sizes in brackets.
Width: 305mm (280mm)
Height: 150mm (200mm)
Text size: 64mm (78mm)

Hope you find that useful and can get something similar made up.

Run anything can that doesn't require you to drill into the car.
