As someone who owned an E36 M3 back in the '90s, it's good to see Dinan enter the game. At least back then they were known as a top-tier BMW parts provider. This seems a step above, but I wonder how this compares to the JB+ in terms of max gains.

Dinan typically offers warranty stuff on their tunes but I’m not sure how it works for this. Does jb+ offer that?

Clarification on this issue as it comes up a lot. BMW treats all aftermarket companies the same, Dinan does not get any special treatment. If a dealership decides not to do a specific job for free, it won't matter whether you have Dinan or JB4.

Dinan matches BMW's warranty and will cover the job if it's related to their tune and the dealership decides to not do it. Please note that this only applies to Dinan flash tunes and not piggybacks. So this product is not included.

As mentioned in a previous post, Dinan is similar to Race Chip, Vr, etc... Its a simpler to install tune vs the Jb4 but will lack some features.

Dinan has always been very conservative, for people who want the ease of install and the brand name probably a decent option. Last week I bought a dp off a supra that had the AC Shnizter tuning box, did not know it even existed, looks like this is prob very similar. I would stick with JB4
