It's just about time to mock up boys. Not only got the wheels and center caps 2 days early but also have someone coming by to deposit different size spacers for me for mock up... moments away from greatness.

Also to reference a moment earlier in the thread YES 11" wide and +64mm offset absolutely does hit the strut. Luckily there is room to come out on both the front and rear. It's quite impressive the car can handle wheels this meaty.

Well boys. Here is the FIRST mock up. I was correct on my second guess of 25mm spacers both front and rear.

I'll get those ordered, as far as tires go I think in the front a square setup is going to work fine no stretch. In the rear a slight amount of stretch will give me a little extra room to clear that inner fender liner.

We are in business.

why do you want to fit these wheels? seems like a lot of work, get very high quality spacers if youre gonna run them that big

I run a 15mm spacer in the rear to have the rear wheels sit flush with the QP. Not poke, but flush... i'd say try to at least have the wheels sit closer to the edge of the QP rather than sucken in like stock.

Previously in the thread I stated I'm getting custom spacers. I'm fitting these wheels because I love the design of them. Don't you think there's enough supras on welds and TE-37s? Let's open up the creativity box a little more and dare to explore.

Alright boys I'm sizing up some tires that I'll likely place on order next week. Stock size in the front for the supra is 255/35/19 while the rears sit at 275/35/19

For the C8 wheels I'm thinking I'll be going 235/35/19 (wheel is thinner therefore thinner tire) and in the rear I could be convinced to go wider but right now I've got 285/30/20. That may be too much stretch so I might go up a bit wider. :p

Now I'm over here trying to photoshop MKV wheels on my C8. :coffee:

235 on the fronts will probably look ok since the stock 245 are fairly flush. 285 on the rear is going to look really stretched, though -- the stock 305 already look stretched to begin with.

Tire size info dump.

As mentioned above 285 is a slight stretch on the wheels YES. I'll attach a picture to show you what 285s look like on the wheels as I ended up using the same sizing on my c5.

The next hurdle is our Traction control, ABS, and making sure the speedo is still reading accurately.

Comparing my original sizing I was considering of 235/35/19 front and 285/30/20 rears there's a glaring issue. Almost 37 more revolutions in the front than in the rear which I'm not sure the traction control system will be able to handle. That's very much out of spec.. so to remedy this I'm going to alter that initial sizing a bit to

Front 235/40/19
Rear 285/30/20

Which is a difference of 9 revolutions a mile which is very much in the acceptable spec.

When you do the tire re-learn it will automagically figure things out, so no issues with ABS, TC, speedo, etc.. At least that's been my experience switching between stock wheels/tires and the drag pack which as 26" fronts and 28" rears.
