lmao what??????????????? this measurement is from center of the stud/lug to the center of stud/lug. Changing the size of the stud/bolt doesnt make it magically make the holes center to center go from 114.3 to 112. I figured this may work, but the lugnut you use would apply more pressure on the outside of the seat, its not going to center at all. And you should 100000% always depend on a hub centric ring over lug centric.
Yeah I donā€™t get it either. Either the lugnut is only going to make contact at one point because the stud is off-center, or the torque is going to bend the stud until the lugnut seats properly (at least until the stud snaps from the stress). I certainly wouldnā€™t do this on my car.

On 5 bolt pattern its actually not center to center. Its center to outside edge. That being said even if this wheel does fit around the studs the seat for the lug nut absolutely will not fit. It wont be properly centered around the stud. 4, 6, and 8 lug wheels are center to center.

I cant find a premade overlay for 114 to 112 but here is one for 108 to 112. You can see how the bolt wont be centered and the lugs will not seat on the wheel correctly: https://rmsmotoring.com/forum/threads/5x108-to-5x112-wobble-bolts.150954/#post-2116709

Edit: found one: https://images.vannetukku.fi/images/thumbnails/540/540_Adapter28_1.jpg You can see the centers are off. That means the conical seat is not seated evenly all the way around. Its dangerous to do this.

The shit people do to make a set of wheels fit a car is baffling to me. Dont do this, definitely dont do this and go to the track. Buy a set of wheels that fit the stock hub or buy spacers that are hubcentric and made by a company that knows wtf they are doing.

Thank you for that, I haven't worked at tire shops since early-mid 2000's. We had tools both at the Walmart tire center and discount tire I worked at back then that would measure it up. both were to be center to center, so I just ASSumed that's where the measurement took place. They were just different colored plastic tools that we centered and the ones that centered up youd have what bolt pattern it was. Say yellow for 5x112, red for 5x114.3 green for 4x100 and so on and so on.

They emailed me about them. This is their response.

Finally had a chance to do this. Now if I forced the wheels on I can see how Vargas claims itā€™ll fit but why on earth would anyone force fit their wheels on risk damaging their wheels and damaging the bolt threads.

The bolts arenā€™t even centered.

Plan was to run the Blitz wheels and I saw how these studs wouldnā€™t work so I never installed them. Ended up buying new wheels and the Blitz back on the shelf for looks.
