Where are y’all fitting these spares? Are you going on these trips without cargo? Lol
I take my Forester for longer trips or just take a plane.

The spare will fit on top of the load floor not underneath like normal.

The trunk holds more than you think it does.

I'm thinking some velcro hook on tire cover might work to keep it from moving around. that's what I used to keep my leather manual cover in trunk.

I don't know if this has been mentioned. If your car is lowered the jack may not fit under the car without driving on a ramp or something similar.

I have that in same set up in my Acura RDX. Works great. Except it’s under the car. Inside under the load floor it has a lowering hoist. It has the space but no spare. Acura wanted some outrageous amount of money. Said not today. Ive already picked up a bolt in the Acura tire and had my brother come and help. My dexterity after my accident 4 years ago makes some simple stuff a huge production.

I assume this kit comes with everything needed? Can you use regular lug bolts without any issues?
Its a nice kit, it comes with jack multi lug tool and long gloves to keep your Sunday best clothes clean. I threw in a piece of a 2x6 for driving onto in case someone is lowered.

I loan my kit to local members. Its been on more out of town trips than my Supra.
