Thanks for the feedback. Guess I'll stop posting pictures here. I'm not a professional photographer and I'm colourblind.

I really didn't change much of the colour: I very slightly reduced the vibrance of the yellow on the day picture because the sun was reflecting off of it (less than 5% reduction on the slider). I adjusted the blue on the night picture - again reduced it but fairly significantly because the moon was bright last night and made the sky look almost like day but with stars. I also dehazed it and lowered the exposure on the night picture. None of these really changed the yellow significantly (aside from the vibrance on the first picture but this only reduced the over-saturation of the colour). If it looks off, it may be my camera, may be the lighting, may be the screen you're on/I'm on, who knows, may be the fact I can't see the colour the same way you do.

It looks right to me - I can see the picture and my car through my window at the same time. The look the same to me.

In any case, it doesnt change the fact that I do love the colour.

Sorry - it's been a rough few days so I'm probably overly sensitive. My apologies if I came off too defensive... I think I'm just still in that headspace.

Photography is one of those skills I would love to be better at but with a colour palette of only around 40% of what others have, it's not in the cards

I have put down a deposit on a yellow MT and these 14 pages of awesome confirm that this is the only correct colour choice. And just as an aside, we call it Silverstone Yellow here in Oz.

I also have a deposit for an allocation preference on a 3.0 Premium Nitro Yellow.

I've only ever owned monochromatic cars and I feel that this car needs a bright color to look its best. And even though I have most likely months of wait time before I get mine, I'm instantly torn on keeping the wheels stock or having them powder coated gloss black.

Haha.. I have a black Type R at the moment and me just mentioning it in this thread has made it dirtier and probably added a new scratch. When I picked her up from the dealership the salesperson told me you only ever buy a black car once. I've done my penance!
