Does the Stage 1 trans with billet torque convertor have any extra road noise? Or does it drive just like the stock trans? Smooth and quiet.

Yup. It's definitely a race application transmission. Shifts hard and heavy like it should.

Ok thanks. Just got it installed and starting break in process. Was hearing more road noise at highway speeds, and wondering if its normal. Hard and heavy shifts is what I'm needing....I think

You shouldn't be hearing any more noise from it, it just shifts hard

No extra noise but the shifts are aggressive enough to break traction in even 3rd sometimes.
