Emergency Battery - Supra Launch Edition. My emergency battery needs to be replaced on my 2020 Launch Edition. They say its on back ordered for the last 2 months. Anyone else had similar failures, impacts on performance, and feedback?

It turns out our cars have a battery to allow them to make an emergency call in the event of an accident. For example the car may be so damaged that the normal electrical system is hosed. Hence it's the emergency battery. I think the consternation is that a virtually unused battery would die in just a couple of years.
