Yeah the new wheels and upgraded JBL system (it has been revised for 2023) is available on all of the 2023 models. Same with the suspension/steering/e-diff retuning.

The only differences for the a91 edition are visual.

Does anyone have any info about what the upgraded JBL system entails compared to the previous MY? Everything I see on the website sounds the same (12 speaker, 500w)

Yep. I made a thread earlier about the targa. I think the fact that they made the SEMA car and then let journalists drive it a year later shows that Toyota is seriously considering that as an option. MKIV had it, so I’m thinking this will probably have it as well for “heritage”.

I think the only info we have is from the original 2023 press release which doesn't say much other than the fact that it's new for 2023. I'm guessing either the head unit or speakers are different, but it's hard to tell at this point.

The MT Supra has a BMW/ZF transmission, it's a modified version of the one the Z4 had/has in other markets. It's not the same as the GR86's transmission.

I heared that the 2023 supra will have the GR86 manual gear. and that its bad and cannot handle much hp is that true?

How is this even possible?

Nada. Press event was suppose to be end of Aug. I guess we have 2 more days in August.

The media test drive happened already this past week, there's is most likely an embargo date on the reviews. Could be anytime now that we see the videos

I heard it was tomorrow for the US, but either way we should see some reviews before too long.
