Not sure if anyone feels the same way I do.

I really wanted an A91-MT because it’s a special edition for the return of the manual transmission. I’d be honored to have one. However, comparing the differences with a premium model, all I’d get are the red badge, red strut bars, better stereo system and a tan leather interior. It will surely come with a hefty dealer markup if I can even get lucky to get one, yet I don’t like the tan interior and I don’t really care too much about sound systems; I bet the badge and strut bars can be painted or the aftermarket versions can be ordered cheaply later. I’d pick the burnout white if I get one but then I’d need to spend further additional money for it.

I just wish Toyota can make it actually special, not just the hype of “special edition”. I bet for the upcoming year models they would gradually make further updates such as functional vents. Keep buyers buying new models with pre-planned updates.

Just a wish. I still really appreciate Toyota for making the manual Supra after all.

The configurator for the Premium has Driver Assist as an option. For the A91 there are no options. Does that mean Driver Assist is also included in the A91 as "base", thus being part of that additional cost? (Or does it mean no Driver Assist avail on the A91)

If I were to guess, it’d make sense that it would be included as part of A91. Still not special because I can just pay for it with a premium model

Now 2023 Supra is available to be built online. Per Toyota website, if I’m not mistaken, all 3.0 models (base, premium, A91-MT) get the same new wheel design.

I like the matte white but I don’t look forward at all to the extra maintenance needed.

I’d rather get a premium and spend the extra money on something else. Especially I don’t like the tan interior.

First of, the buyer has to really like the A91-MT to spend extra money and effort to get it. Secondly he has to really dislike the tan interior. Then it’s actually the only truly special item he’s getting other than the upgraded sound system. Likely he would just get the premium and be happy. In order for him to spend the extra money, plus the extra dealer markup to get the A91-MT, then swap out the only truly special item out (also extra effort), I think he would expect a significant amount of money to exchange to black interior (not red). Then again, why would he do it to begin with.. Just imo

Pretty sure 3.0 Premium and A91-MT both have the 12-speaker JBL sound system. The non-Premium has the 10-speaker system.

Well, that's a suprise to me. From reading all the A91 MT stuff, Toyota sure made it sound like the new lightweight wheels were only included with the special edition cars. I guess not though...

Yeah the new wheels and upgraded JBL system (it has been revised for 2023) is available on all of the 2023 models. Same with the suspension/steering/e-diff retuning.

The only differences for the a91 edition are visual.

Yes, sounds like all "upgrades" on the A91-MT is visual and can be retrofitted on any other GR Supra. One difference from this limited model to the previous ones is the numbered plaque. If this will truly affected future demand and, thus, resale value is debatable.
